About ThatGuyBob

I'm probably best described as a computer "veteran." I cut my teeth on a C64 with an audio tape drive when I was eight years old, and have been working with computers ever since. Writing and reverse-engineering programs, disassembling and reassembling the hardware, and just playing around in general are what I love to do.

I've laid hands upon servers and client machines alike, and I'm familiar with just about every operating system out there from OS/2 to Windows to Linux and Solaris. There hasn't been a Microsoft OS released that I've not poked, prodded, and/or cursed at.

I have an extremely understanding wife who allows me to disappear into my office, occasionally for hours at a time. Of course, this happens much less these days, as our daughter tends to be much more interesting than the computers.
