Offsite Links

A collection useful and not-so-useful places on the Web that I frequent...
  • PC Gaming
    • Home of the Underdogs - (Currently down, archived site) Great place to find games that you thought had gone to bit-heaven.
    • GameSpot
    • GameCopyWorld - Nice, centralized location for all your Fair Use needs.
    • The Sims 2 - The people simulator that has ruined WAY too many lives, both virtual and actual.
    • Spore - I'll be drooling over this until it comes out.
  • Humor
  • Tech
    • W3 Schools - THE place to start if you want to learn about any web technology. They cover all the basics, with examples, interactive demos, quizzes, and links to references with more detailed information.
    • SourceForge - The Web's home for open source... well... everything.
    • PortableApps - Very cool concept, finally given a centralized location on the Web.
    • MajorGeeks - Great place for freeware/shareware/open-source/demos. Updated constantly.
    • Digg - You're already being fed the news other people think is important, so why not have a (small) say in the matter? My Digg profile, in case you're interested, is here.
    • GameDev.net
  • Miscellany
    • TitanTV - Nice online TV guide.
    • Geocaching
    • IMDb - Everything you ever wanted to know about any movie.
    • ThinkGeek - If you ever want to get me anything as a gift, start here.
    • NewEgg - ...or here.
